Data collection storage and access
Data exist in many forms, for example, slides, photographs, agarose gel plots, survey questionnaires, field notes, bibliographic research notes, lab notebooks, and computer data. There are specific regulations regarding collection, storage, and access for different kinds of data. During data collection it is important to follow your research protocol. After the results are published, you are obligated to provide access to your primary research data for the purpose of verification by bona fide researchers.
