Make our residences your family home
Our family accommodations are currently full with no vacancies expected for the Fall 2024 semester. We will reopen applications once vacancies become available.
Living on campus offers convenience, camaraderie and security in a supportive, vibrant community that will help you and your family get the most out of the university experience.
Our Burton’s Pond Apartments are home to our family accommodations and are within quick walking distance to classes, labs, dining spaces, the library, our on-campus daycare and an outdoor playground. Your children will also be within close proximity to a number of schools in the area.
Family accommodations are reserved for:
- An adult couple in a common-law relationship as defined by the Government of Newfoundland and Labrador, or an adult married couple, with or without children under the age of 18. One adult in the couple must be a full-time student at Memorial University, the Marine Institute, or the College of the North Atlantic.
- A single, full-time student at Memorial University, the Marine Institute, or the College of the North Atlantic, living with children under the age of 18.
- Priority for accommodations will be given to families with children.
Families who live on campus do not need to move out between semesters and can remain residents as long as a student is currently registered for courses.
