The Johnson Geo Centre offers a variety of spaces for your next event. Built into historic Signal Hill in the very heart of old St. John’s, our rooms have a piece of history for you and your guests to see. Each of our spaces have unique features and amenities, please see detailed descriptions below.
Reception Hall
The Reception Hall is our premiere venue for corporate celebrations, galas, receptions and more. Situated under a scaled representation of our Solar System, the Reception Hall is a truly unique venue that is the perfect mixture of science, fun and style.
Celestial Gallery
The Celestial Gallery is a fully functional meeting and celebration space located on the main floor of the Geo Centre. With 2,000 square feet of space, it can easily transform to meet the requirements of any event. With a stage integrated into the room, the Celestial Gallery can be the perfect intimate venue for meetings, entertainment, parties and more.
Outdoor Classroom
Located off the Reception Hall, the Outdoor Classroom is a beautiful outdoor event space that has been cut from an ancient riverbed and creates a natural windbreak to keep guests sheltered from the elements. A beautiful backdrop featuring fresh air and open sky, it is the ideal space for receptions and celebrations.
