We opened up a Facebook group in March as a way to give you, MUNPA members, a place to gather and chat about things relevant to you. Maybe a place to reminisce, a place to connect with old colleagues, or seek help or offer advice about things affecting your life today. Or just a place to socialize.

Membership in the group is still small, compared to our overall membership numbers, and it's a fairly quiet group. We are hoping to see numbers go up, and have members take the opportunity for greater interaction with each other. There's no structure here, just come along, have a chat, tell us how you are passing your time these days when so many of us are home a lot due to COVID-19.

To encourage membership growth in our Facebook group, the names of those who join between today and June 30th will be entered in a draw for a gift card. We'll use Chapters if you are in Canada, and we'll figure something else if you are outside Canada. And to reward those of you who have already taken the plunge, we'll have a draw the same time for people who were members before today. I will be checking the existing group names on June 30th, and only those still on the page that day will be entered into the prize draws.

We know not everyone is on Facebook, so we will still be using our existing methods to reach out to members, including our listserves, website, and Your Voice newsletter.
