Woodcarving Group
Meets biweekly, Thursdays, 1pm-4pm, at Mount Scio
Fall 2024 start – Thursday, September 5
Each MUNPA group follows the MUN/MUNPA/Public Health guidelines appropriate to them. Group Leaders will provide details to members as needed.
Helger Eckenweber coordinates our woodcarving group, providing instruction for any skill level. Participants learn the skills of relief, figure, and driftwood carving. There may be a group project or you can carve an item that interests you. Basic small hand tools will be provided on loan at the meetings. A supply of wood can be arranged for those who need it to be provided.
Meetings are usually held in the Boardroom, Mount Scio Research Facilities Building, 297 Mount Scio Road. This building is across the street from the Botanical Garden, but slightly uphill from it. There is a sign right at the roadway, a MUN building sign, just turn in there. The boardroom is directly inside the entry door to the building, room MS1009.
Note: This group, like all MUNPA groups, is only open to MUNPA members and their spouse/partner.
If this group interests you, email Helger at eckenweber@nl.rogers.com.
