Senior Health

Healthy Aging is an ongoing MUNPA discussion group. Members meet over coffee on the third Wednesday (usually) of each month at the Signal Hill Campus to share their knowledge and experience. For some topics, outside resource people are invited to lead the discussion. Past topics have included: dealing with doctors; fats; glycemic index; evaluating biomedical research; memory; gut bacteria; insomnia; incontinence; sex; sleep; dying; vision; Parkinson's disease; arthritis; travel insurance; hearing loss;  music and aging; vegetarian diets; and meditation. Newcomers are always welcome to join, without any ongoing commitment.  Note: This group, like all MUNPA groups, is only open to MUNPA members and their spouse/partner.

For further information, please contact Linda Longerich (lindal@mun.ca).

The room number may vary and so is confirmed with signed up members about a week before each meeting.
