I am a PhD student at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. I grew up in Sanandaj, a small town in northwest of Iran where people speak in Kurdish as their native language.

Thesis – “The relationship of the Mediterranean trough’s location with precipitation in north west of Iran”

My Research currently focuses on evaluating the climate model simulations regarding the future projections of extreme events such as heat waves or heavy precipitations.
