Earth Sciences MSc Student Wins Best Presentation
Chris Boyd, an MSc student in the Department of Earth Sciences won the best oral presentation at the International Ichnological Association’s four-yearly Ichnia III meeting for his work on three dimensional reconstruction of trace fossils. Chris is part of the ichnology group in the department and is supervised by Duncan McIlroy. His thesis is focussed on three dimensional reconstruction of shallow marine trace fossils from the Carboniferous of the UK.
