Volunteer Activities/Duties: helping sell tickets. helping paddlers get in and out of boats (on the dock), helping paddlers get lined up for races, and general helping out on other booths.

Commitment: morning or afternoon shift, festival day only.

Orientation and Training: Information on volunteering opportunities (Community Connections Programs) and volunteering boundaries.

Other Requirements: First Aid is helpful, but not required. You need the ability to stand/ sit for long periods and have to get your own transportation to and from octagon pond; it is an outdoor event, dress accordingly.  Lunch will be provided (sandwiches), snacks.
