Internationalization Office
The Internationalization Office work with international students in whatever capacity they need. I.O. advisors assist with immigration needs, housing needs, health insurance, social programming and activities, navigating challenges they may have, health insurance, career advice, family support, and study abroad advising. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support our Family Programming — a fun and engaging initiative for international students and their families.

Typical Volunteer Duties:
• Childminding support: (long term)
Supervise and engage children during family events and activities
Assist with setting up toys, games, and clean-up.
Create a safe, friendly, and fun environment.
Requirement: Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check.
Commitment: 3–4 hours on weekdays (4 times a month).
• Storyteller for children: (long term)
As a Storyteller volunteer, you will bring joy and imagination to children's by sharing engaging stories. Your role includes reading aloud or narrating tales from different cultures, encouraging participation through songs or interactive storytelling, and helping set up and tidy the storytelling area (if required).
Requirement: Criminal Record and Vulnerable sector check.
Commitment: 3–4 hours on weekdays (4 times a month).
• Henna, Crafts art, Face panting and creative workshops: (short term)
Offer henna art for children and families during events.
Lead or assist with creative activity tables for children during events.
Encourage creativity and interaction among families.
Prepare materials and help with setup and cleanup.
Commitment: Once a month or per event.
• Event planning and coordination: (short term)
Help organize family events and assist with logistics (decor, setup, registration, etc.).
Support communication and coordination with participants.
Provide feedback and ideas for future programs.
Commitment: Once a month or per event.
