Organization Description: We are a penpal project for kids/youth with disabilities and their siblings.

Volunteer Activities/Duties: Volunteer PenPal: Volunteer is paired with 1 (or more) participant(s) and are expected to write them every 2 weeks (2 times a month). Children may write back to the volunteer. Volunteers are expected to complete monthly check-in forms, respond to emails, and be open to having occassional check-in phonecalls with our coodinators.

Commitment: Volunteers are expected to write each child twice a month (commitment is a minimum of 2 hrs a month). They are also expected to complete a monthly form (15 minutes).

Orientation and Training: No orientation or training, but a brief conversation with our coordinators is mandatory.

Other Requirements: Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Screenings are required. Experience working with children and children with disabilities is an asset. We encourage people who are intrested in art, drawing, and writing to volunteer with us.
