We are a non profit, community based charitable organization that exists to support individuals of all genders who have been impacted by sexual violence.

Volunteer Duties: Our trained volunteers work from home fielding calls on our 24 hours crisis and support line provid-ing empathy, support, and trauma-informed responses for the vulnerable individuals across our province who need varying degrees of support.

Volunteer Requirements: Just a willingness to support those in need. We provide all the training.

Commitment: 4-6 four hour shifts a month for a year.

Registration: Send an email asking for an application. Fill in our application package, send two references and do an interview.

Those accepted into our program become part of a supportive and dedicated team of volunteers. They receive our in house training on sexual violence and support skills, Mental Health First Aid, Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training, Cultural Diversity, a very flexible schedule that they choose, full time support from a dedicated volunteer coordinator, and ongoing volunteer appreciation.
