United Nations Society

We run University and High School events in a format replicating the United Nations where students represent countries to deal with major world issues by discussing solutions and writing clauses to create a resolution that member nations can follow to make positive changes to the problem.  This lets students learn more about specific countries, global affairs, self-expression, legislation, and policy drafting.  It's also a great opportunity to meet students outside of your department since it's open to members studying any subject.
