Student Volunteer of the Year

This award is presented to a student at Memorial who has made exceptional contributions to the community of Memorial, locally, provincially, or globally, through their volunteer efforts during the past year. For the purpose of this award, a student may be pursuing either Undergraduate or Graduate programs.

Note: Individuals who fall into multiple categories may only be considered for one award.

David Kirkland Student Leadership Award

The David Kirkland Student Leadership Award is presented to a student who has made exceptional contributions to the Memorial community through their leadership and volunteer efforts during the past year. Qualities of this student should include integrity, dedication, humility, creativity, open-mindedness, and dependability. To be eligible, students must possess a minimum average of 65%. For the purpose of this award, a student may be pursuing either Undergraduate or Graduate programs.

Volunteer Student Group of the Year

This award is presented to a ratified Club, Society or Resource Centre active at Memorial which has made exceptional contributions to campus and community life through their volunteer efforts during the past year. Please be aware that this award is based on the collective volunteer efforts of the members of the student group and not the individual students within the organization.
