People
Successful research is about connecting people. The Janeway Pediatric Research Unit (JPRU) aims to create linkages among the research community within the Janeway hospital and the Faculty of Medicine.
The JPRU is home to 12 core faculty, a research manager, and an administrative lead. This core group conduct their own research projects and work with most of the clinical staff within the Janeway hospital. There is a JPRU management team, consisting of the JPRU Director, the Chair of Pediatrics, the Chair of the Janeway Foundation’s Research Advisory Committee, the Pediatric Resident Research Director, and the JPRU research manager. There are also an active group of research assistants, pediatric residents, graduate students, and medical students working on a wide range of pediatric research projects.
All these people work together to support our shared vision for children’s health research across our province.
