Bluedrop Innovation 25th Anniversary Award
Announcing the Bluedrop Innovation 25th Anniversary Award
This award was established by a generous donation from Bluedrop Performance Learning. Valued at $1,500, it will be awarded to a female student beyond first year who is pursing studies in Computer Science at Memorial University. This award will be based on a student’s goals, accomplishments, and ability to overcome hardship on the road to academic success. Interested students must apply via the Department of Computer Science’s website. Applicants must be in clear standing and meet the minimum academic requirements for an award as defined by Memorial University.
The deadline for applications is Friday, December 1, 2017. Interested female students, who have declared their major in Computer Science, can apply to compsci@mun.ca stating how they meet the following criteria for selection:
Criteria for Selection
- Please explain why you deserve this award and if you were to be the successful recipient, how the award would assist you (maximum of 400 words).
- Outside of your academic studies, please let us know of any community service and/or extracurricular participation with which you are involved (maximum of 200 words).
Applications will be reviewed by Bluedrop with the final recommendation made by the Department Head, Computer Science. This award will be granted by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards.
