Develop a sound plan
As a proud 2025 Canada Games community partner, Memorial University will become a vibrant hub of Games activity on the St. John's campus in August 2025.
As part of best practices to ensure campus services run smoothly during the Games, please complete a 2025 Canada Games Continuity Plan for your department/unit.
All Memorial University campuses are asked to complete a plan to help identify any St. John’s campus partners/dependencies whose regular level of service may be interrupted during the Games.
Please complete this plan by November 28, 2024 and submit to canadagames2025@mun.ca.
Require Assistance?
The Office of the Chief Risk Officer has developed a Brightspace training area to assist you with completing your plan using the template; login to Brightspace using your Memorial credentials.
In addition, the Office of the Chief Risk Officer in conjunction with the Canada Games at Memorial planning team will host three virtual template guidance sessions via MS Teams. Choose from any of the following options:
- October 9, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- October 10, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- October 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- November 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
