Memorial University’s Information Technology Project Approval policy is being revised, including a proposed new title of IT Investment. This proposed revision is to align with the direction set out within the University's IT Governance and Collaboration Framework, which was approved by Vice-Presidents Council in September 2017.

The Sexual Harassment Office will be hosting an open information session at the Marine Institute campus, for anyone interested in learning more about the major revisions to the Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault (formerly Sexual Harassment) policy.

At its meeting on October 4, 2017, the Board of Regents approved the revised Sexual Harassment and Sexual Assault (formerly Sexual Harassment) policy. This revised policy and its related procedures, viewable here: http://www.mun.ca/policy/site/policy.php?id=321 come into effect on November 1, 2017.

Information Management and Protection (IM&P) has launched its new website to provide resources and tools to help other Memorial University units follow best practices in managing and protecting their information. The IM&P website supports the university’s new Information Management Policy, which was approved by the Board of Regents July 7 and went into effect immediately. The policy provides direction on the management and protection of university records.
