Communications
Memorial makes good news.
Media outlets all over the world — from the local CBC to the BBC — publish more than 100 stories a month on the accomplishments of our university.
On social media, our engagement rates are two to five times higher than the industry standard on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn.
But we can't put your amazing story out into the world, or amplify it internally, until you share your good news with us.
Click a link below to learn more on how to share what's happening in your unit:
- Find contact information for each unit's communications employee(s), who can help you with your unit's storytelling initiaitves.

- Browse Memorial's internal communications channels (e.g. Newsline, Gazette) to learn more about how to reach internal audiences.
- Use our social media guidelines to enhance your reach and impact on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Tik Tok and more.
- Consult the university's style guide to ensure your writing is following Memorial's standardized rules for grammar, syntax and more.
