SUBJECT: PSA: Mini-Med School is back!

Interested in learning about health and medicine? Ever wonder what sort of lectures medical students experience as they prepare to be physicians? Now is your chance to expand your knowledge and feel like a medical student for six weeks.
Registration for the 2018 Mini-Med School session is now open. Sessions run from April 4 - May 9, 2018 on Wednesday evenings in the Faculty of Medicine’s lecture theatres, St. John’s campus. Participants of all ages – from high school students to seniors – are welcome to attend.
A web conferencing/webinar option is available for anyone who would like to attend but is unable to be in St. John’s during the sessions.
Presentation highlights include a lecture and discussion about depression and adolescent mental health by Dr. Rajive Rajan on April 18; and on April 25, Dr. Bruce Hollett will discuss chronic opioids and addiction. At the final session, graduates receive a certificate of completion.
Fees (including taxes):
Adult, in-person sessions (St. John’s) $148.35
Adult, web conferencing (online): $148.35
Senior/ Student, in-person sessions (St. John’s): $86.25
Senior/Student web conferencing (online): $86.25
