SUBJECT: Energy renewal at Memorial

Kent Decker, vice-president (administration and finance), Memorial University, will host a launch tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 28, of the Energy Performance Contract focused on reducing energy consumption and renewing facility infrastructure at Memorial.
This agreement between the university and Honeywell Building Solutions will result in significant financial benefits and improvements to Memorial’s buildings, as well as reduce the university’s carbon footprint.
Mr. Decker will be joined by Ann Browne, associate vice-president (facilities), Memorial University, and Luis Rodrigues, vice-president, energy services group, Honeywell Building Solutions.
The launch will take place at 10 a.m., in The Landing at the University Centre. Metered parking is available throughout campus; members of the media are permitted to park in area 18 in front of the QEII Library with access via the food court pedway.
