In September 2013, Dr. Joshi was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. He is also known as Dr. C. from the CBC Radio show that covered his journey through cancer as a patient, which won the gold medal award for the World’s Best Radio in 2014 in the health documentary category.
