The media is invited to attend Ocean Net Day celebrations taking place on Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Topsail Beach.
In honour of Ocean Net Day, the Marine Institutes Ocean Net will participate with the Town of Paradise and Conception Bay South (CBS) to host a beach/shoreline cleanup at Topsail Beach. The event will also feature music, face painting and a mussel boil.

Ocean Net Day is a provincial celebration for the MI Ocean Net volunteers and their commitment to protecting oceans and ocean environments in Newfoundland and Labrador.
Anyone wishing to join a beach cleanup or to host one of their own can register online at www.mi.mun.ca/mioceannet or by calling 709.778.0328.
