SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial researchers seeking research participants

Memorial researchers are seeking research participants for a study entitled Working Late: Strategies to Enhance Productive and Healthy Environments for the Older Workforce.
Dr. Lan Gien from the School of Nursing and her team are looking for individuals (aged 50 years and older) who are currently working or seeking work, to participate in an interview. They would like to hear views on the benefits of remaining in employment after age 65; the challenges facing older workers; and the impact of recent legislation ending mandatory retirement.
This research will help inform employers and government about the needs and concerns of older workers who wish to remain in employment past normal retirement age. The interview will take about 45-60 minutes.
