The Women’s Studies Department and the St. John’s International Women’s Film
Festival are screening Zanzibar Soccer Queens, a film by Florence Ayrisi, as a fundraiser for the Master of Women’s Studies Graduate Travel Award. The screening takes place at the Inco Innovation Centre, room IIC-2001, on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 8 p.m.
Advance tickets ($10) are available at the Department of Women’s Studies, SN-4082, or by calling 737-3322 or e-mailing joanb@mun.ca. Tickets are also available at the door for $12.
