SUBJECT: PSA: Father's Day Celebrations at GEO
DATE: June 18, 2009
On Sunday, June 21, the Johnson GEO CENTRE will celebrate Fathers with special programs and demonstrations. Father’s are admitted free from 9:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., when accompanied by a child, and will receive a special discount in GEO Gifts.
Learn firsthand how ancient stone tools were crafted, as special guest Tim Rast of Elfshot demonstrates the art of flintknapping. Demonstrations will run from 1-4 p.m.
GEO staff will teach you how to pan for gold in our pioneer camp, which is on-going throughout the day. Catch gold fever and see if you have what it takes to strike it rich.
