SUBJECT: Fourth annual Toronto Affinity Dinner

Memorial University alumni and friends of Newfoundland and Labrador will gather for their fourth annual Toronto Affinity Dinner on Nov. 4. This year’s dinner will take place at the Liberty Grand entertainment complex with the reception starting at 6 p.m.
The event is packed with features, including a keynote speech by Brian Tobin, a former premier of Newfoundland and Labrador and federal minister of industry. The event is emceed by always entertaining actor and comedian Jonny Harris, himself a graduate of Memorial’s Sir Wilfred Grenfell College.
The dinners are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the province and allow the participants to rekindle old friendships, forge new business relationships and celebrate the best Newfoundland and Labrador has to offer. The event is also an opportunity for the participants to raise funds in support of Memorial and its students.
The Affinity dinners are organized by alumni and friends of Memorial in conjunction with the Office of Alumni Affairs and Development. Those interested in attending can still purchase tickets by calling 1-877-700-4081. The tickets are $125.
