SUBJECT: PSA: Memorial group hosts general meeting

The general meeting of the Newfoundland and Labrador Blood Disorders Support Network will be held on Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, from 4-5 p.m. in the Health Sciences Centre, room 2860.
The network is spearheaded by several Memorial researchers and is a project of the Hematology/Oncology and Hemostasis Research Group at the university.
Its main goal is to raise awareness about disorders of the blood and immune system here in this province, as well as the impact disorders have on patients, their families and the professionals and volunteers who work in this field.
The general public is invited to the meeting.
