Memorial University’s Faculty of Education officially launches the Killick Project for E-Learning Research on Wed, Feb. 21, at 12 p.m. in the Inco Innovation Centre Lecture Theatre room IIC-2001.
The Killick Project, a unique community-university research alliance, aims to foster innovative research, training and new knowledge in the area of e-learning in the field of education, with a focus on rural and isolated areas. The Project will be the anchor for a community-university alliance in e-learning in which partners such as the university, the provincial Department of Education, school districts and the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers Association work together as equal members in a research consortium.
Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives. Parking available in lot Area 15. Reception to follow.
