Memorial’s writer-in-residence, Lisa Moore, will read from her forthcoming novel on Thursday, Dec. 2. The reading will take place in the University Club, fifth floor of the Arts and Administration Building on Memorial’s St. John’s campus, starting at 4 p.m.This event is sponsored by the Department of English and the Canada Council for the Arts. Everyone is invited to attend.
Lisa Moore’s first collection, Degrees of Nakedness, was published in 1995. Her second, Open, was published in 2002 and was nominated for the Winterset Award as well as for the Giller Prize; it also won the Canadian Authors’ Association Prize for short fiction.
