SUBJECT: PSA: Reading by writer-in-residence Lisa Moore and poet Sue Sinclair

Lisa Moore, Memorial’s writer-in-residence, and Sue Sinclair, a poet who grew up in St. John's and now lives in Toronto, will read from their works on Wednesday,
Oct. 6, 2004. The readings begin at 8 p.m.in the University Club, located on the fifth floor of the Arts and Administration Building Annex on Memorial’s St. John’scampus. There is no admission charge and all are welcome to attend.
Lisa Moore's second collection of short fiction, Open (House of Anansi Press), was nominated for the Giller Prize in 2002. She is currently completing a novel. Sue Sinclair's most recent collections of poetry are Mortal Arguments (Brick Books), nominated for the 2004 Atlantic Poetry Prize, and The Drunken Lovely Bird (Goose Lane Editions), both published in the past year.
