SUBJECT: PSA: Journalist and feminist activist Judy Rebick to speak at Memoria lUniversity

Journalist and feminist activist Judy Rebick will be in St John's on Sunday, May 29, to celebrate the launch of her latest book Ten Thousand Roses, an oral history of feminism between the 1970s and ‘90s. She interviewed many Newfoundlanders and Labradorians in her research and this is an open invitation to join Ms. Rebick and a panel of these women for a discussion on the past achievements and future aspirations of the women's movement. The event, sponsored by Memorial's Women's Studies Council, will take place in the University Club (5th floor, Arts and Administration Building) on Sunday, May 29, at 5 p.m. Members of the public are invited to attend. Free parking is available in lot 15, across from the School of Music.
