Macpherson College

Located on Memorial University's St. John's campus, Macpherson College offers modern and comfortable accommodations ideal for travellers, conference guests, and groups.

Each suite is simply furnished and includes a private washroom and shower. Spacious common rooms on each floor offer seating, television, and limited kitchenette facilities. Macpherson College is clean, bright, and perfect for those seeking comfort and privacy.

2025 Rates and availability

Memorial University is a proud partner of the 2025 Canada Games, hosting the Games village, competition and training venues, and more on the St. John’s campus. 

Memorial is honoured to host nearly 5,000 athletes and coaches in the Games village. This includes housing in most of our residences, requiring additional preparation time. A limited 2025 Guest Accommodations season will close earlier than normal.

Group Stays (Group Bookings):
  • 2025 Season: May 15 - July 15
  • Subject to availability
Short Stays (Individual Bookings):
  • Available: May 15 - July 1 (inclusive)
  • Regular B&B Rate: $125 per night (single/double occupancy)
    • All rates are subject to 15% HST and 4% tourism marketing levy.
    • B&B rates include continental breakfast and parking.
    • Extended stays (weekly rates) are not available for the 2025 season.

Two-Bedroom Suite
  • Two separate bedrooms connected by a small foyer.
  • Each bedroom contains:
    • 1 single bed, desk, shelving, and closet.
  • Private washroom and shower in each suite.
  • Occupancy: Double.
One-Bedroom Suite
  • Each suite contains:
    • 1 double bed, desk, shelving, and closet.
  • Private washroom and shower.
  • Occupancy: Single/Double.
Barrier-Free (Accessible) Suite
  • Each suite contains:
    • 1 single bed, desk, shelving, and closet.
    • Accessible features include automated door, wide doorways, and lower furniture setups.
  • Private washroom and shower.
    • Washroom contains grab bars. Rooms with roll-in shower or bench available upon request.
  • Rollaway cot available upon request for second guest.
  • Occupancy: Single/Double.
