Memorial University’s Faculty of Medicine is celebrating 50 years of transforming health care.
Join us for a discussion with Dr. Edward Roberts on The Medical School 50 Years On: Its Impact on Newfoundland and Labrador’s Health-Care System.
Everyone is welcome to this free event.
Dr. Roberts, minister of health from 1969-72 when the medical school was created, announced that the provincial government would phase out the General Hospital in St. John’s and replace it with a new $24-million hospital on Memorial University’s campus.
