SUBJECT: Merchant Navy Day Commemoration

The Canadian Merchant Navy Veterans Association and Company of Master Mariners-NL Division will commemorate Merchant Navy Day and honour the 20th anniversary of the unveiling of the Merchant Navy Memorial on Thursday, Sept. 14, at 12 p.m.
The ceremony will take place at the Merchant Navy Memorial outside of the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University’s Ridge Road campus. The 2017 commemoration will consist of a civil and religious ceremony.
Relatives and families of veterans, the public and media are welcome to attend.
