SUBJECT: Memorial University officially launches Memorial Centre for Entrepreneurship

The Memorial Centre for Entrepreneurship will hold its official launch on Friday, March 17, from 12-2 p.m. at the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation on Memorial University’s St. John’s campus.
Members of the media are invited to attend the event, which will be held in the atrium. Representatives of Memorial University, the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Industry and Innovation are expected to attend.
The Memorial Centre for Entrepreneurship, based in St. John’s, promotes entrepreneurship, supports students, faculty and staff in developing startup business ideas, and contributes to developing an attractive entrepreneurial ecosystem in Newfoundland and Labrador.
This campus-wide centre is a joint initiative of the Faculty of Business Administration and the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science.
Parking is available in lot 1A in front of the Arts and Administration building. Upon arrival, please check in with staff at the event.
