SUBJECT: Marine Institute to host its largest scholarship and awards presentation to date

The Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland will celebrate student achievement during the 2016 Autumn Presentation of Scholarships and Awards on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
The event will take place in the gymnasium of MI’s Ridge Road campus at 7 p.m. and is expected to be one of the institute’s largest scholarship presentations to date. A total of 122 scholarships, awards and bursaries will be presented to MI students.
The ceremony will include remarks from Gerry Byrne, minister, Advanced Education, Skills and Labour, and Glenn Blackwood, vice-president, Memorial University (Marine Institute).
