SUBJECT: Genesis Centre to hold graduation ceremony

The Genesis Centre, Memorial University’s award-winning business incubator, will celebrate the graduation of three of its clients during a ceremony tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 14, in the Junior Common Room, R. Gushue Hall, on Memorial’s St. John’s Campus. The event begins at 2 p.m.
Michelle Simms, president and chief executive officer, Genesis Group, will host the event. She will be joined by Dr. Gary Kachanoski, president and vice-chancellor, Memorial University; Nick Whalen, member of Parliament, St. John’s East; Christopher Mitchelmore, minister, Business, Tourism, Culture and Rural Development; and the graduating companies.
The graduating companies are Agile Sensor Technologies; Seamatica Aerospace; and Whitecap Scientific Corporation.
Media agencies are invited to send representatives. Limited parking is available on Irwin’s Road in front of R. Gushue Hall.
