SUBJECT: RCMP Constable to discuss investigation of prolific Nova Scotia art thief John Mark Tillman

Royal Canadian Mounted Police Constable Darryl Morgan with the Street Crime Enforcement Unit, Halifax District, will share insights and behind-the-scenes information on the RCMP investigation of prolific art thief John Mark Tillman.
In 2006, Mr. Tillman stole a six-page, full-colour musical composition dated from 1853 by composer Henry H. Tillman from the Centre of Newfoundland Studies, Memorial University Libraries. The RCMP discovered several thousand artifacts, books, manuscripts and antiques in Mr. Tillman’s home with an estimated value of about a million dollars. A recent episode of CBC’s Fifth Estate documented the case.
