SUBJECT: Hibernia enhancing geosciences field school program at Memorial University

Media representatives are invited to attend an official announcement by Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd. regarding the contribution of funding to enhance the field experience of students and staff at Memorial University on Thursday, May 16.
Participants include Dr. Christopher Loomis, vice-president (research), Memorial University; Jamie Long, president, Hibernia Management and Development Company Ltd.; and Dr. John Hanchar, head, Department of Earth Sciences.
The event will take place at 11:15 a.m. in the third floor atrium of the Alexander Murray (Earth Sciences) building, St. Johns campus, Memorial University. To view a campus map, please visit www.mun.ca/campusmap.php.
A reception will follow.
Limited parking for media is available in the underground lot below the Earth Sciences building in lot 60.
