SUBJECT: The Wicked Memorial Variety Show at Mile One Centre

Media advisory:
Memorial University presents The Wicked Memorial Variety Show at Mile One Centre in St. Johns on Saturday, Aug. 11. The show will feature Hey Rosetta! and The Wonderful Grand Band, with special performances by Amelia Curran, Barry Canning, Andrew James OBrien and Jonny Harris. Mark O'Brien, known for his breakout role as Des Courtney on the hit CBC series Republic of Doyle, will be the shows emcee. The show starts at 8:00 pm and doors open at 7:00 pm.
Media are invited to send one reporter and one still camera operator to the show, for a maximum of two people per media outlet. Please note that all media must register in advance to gain admittance to the show.
