As part of the Memorial Universitys havin a time: Reunion 2012, the Marine Institute will be bringing together experts on marine resources to engage in a series of debate and discussion concerning the past, present and future of our ocean resources. This session will take place on Thursday, Aug. 9, from
4-6 p.m. at Hampton Hall, Marine Institute campus.
Speakers at the session will include:
- Dr. George Rose, director, Centre for Fisheries Ecosystems Research (CFER), Marine Institute
Whats Up with the Fishery
- Randy Gillespie, director, Centre for Applied Ocean Technology (CTec), Marine Institute
Modern Approaches to Ocean Mapping and Monitoring
- Dr. W.A. (Bill) Montevecchi, university research professor, Psychology, Memorial University
Signals from Seabirds: Ocean Exploitation, Study, Conservation
