SUBJECT: PSA: Time to remember: Memorial University holds Ceremony of Remembrance
DATE: November 9, 2010
Each year, a Ceremony of Remembrance is held at Memorial University to reflect on the lives lost and those who fought to leave a better world for those who remained.
This years ceremony will take place in the Robert G. Reid Theatre in the Arts and Administration Building, St. Johns campus, on Wednesday, Nov. 10, from 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
The film Quiet at Dawn featuring Allan Hawco and Mark O'Brien as First World War soldiers, will be incorporated into the ceremony.
A live webcast of the ceremony will be available on Wednesday at starting at 11 a.m. at www.distance.mun.ca/media/files/live/
A reception will follow the ceremony.
