SUBJECT: Diversity is key on Day 3 of Memorial’s annual fall celebrations

Diversity is the focus of the day, the third in five fun-filled days of Memorial’s MUNdays.
Memorial’s yearly fall celebrations will focus on celebrating all the things that make the university shine above the rest.
MUNdays continue to roll out under I Love MUNdays at the St. John’s campus, while the celebrations at Grenfell Campus fall under the banner of I Fell for Grenfell.
In St. John’s, you can indulge in some of the most delicious fare from around the globe or discover unique jewelry at the International Bazaar. It’s a marketplace of world music, tastes, sights and sounds, all happening at The Landing in the University Centre from 12-3 p.m.
After lunch, sail on a uber-realistic journey to the Battle of the Atlantic on the Marine Institute’s simulation of a Second World War War corvette as it escorts a convoy across the Atlantic ocean. The battle begins at 12 and runs to 1:30 p.m.
While on the hill, you can Fly an ROV in MI’s flume tank and participate in several water challenges from 3-4:30 p.m.
Then, at 6:30 p.m. at the Reid Theatre, take in comedic legend Andy Jones’ show To The Wall. Tickets are still available for the performance and can be picked up for free with a donation to the Campus Food Bank at Answers, room 3005 in the University Centre.
After the show, trump your friends at Bitters Pub’s Super Trivia Night with your vast collection of arcane/useless knowledge from 8-11 p.m.
Grenfell College
In Corner Brook, the Western Regional School of Nursing wants you to get fit at the Health Fair from 10-12 p.m. at the GCSU Food Court in the Arts and Science Building, and then head over for some academic direction at Advising Daze from 10:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at Crossroads in the Arts and Science building, as well.
Then, from 12:30-2 p.m., practice your aim and raise money for charity at Pie the Prof at the GCSU Food Court at the Arts and Science building.
Experience diverse delights as I Fell for Grenfell continues with International Night from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the GCSU Food Court in the Arts and Science building. A fusion of international sounds, entertainment and distinct dishes from the different nationalities and cultures found in the Grenfell community are yours to enjoy, as the public are invited as well. Then be prepared to be entertained at the GCSU Open Mic show at 11 p.m. at The Backlot.
