SUBJECT: Canadian Federation of University Women hosts Membership Tea
DATE: September 10, 2010
The 2010-11 program year for the Canadian Federation of University Women (CFUW) will start with an annual Membership Tea. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. in the E.B. Foran Room at St. John’s City Hall.
The guest speaker at the tea will be Dr. Dawn Howse. The title of her talk is “A Leap of Faith.” Dr. Howse was honoured by Memorial University this year for her work as a medical missionary in Zimbabwe for a period of 20 years.
This will be your chance to catch up on what is happening with the CFUW and to learn about the exciting program for the coming year. You may also like to sign up for one or two interest groups.
All are invited to attend the tea and to bring along friends.
