DATE: September 29, 2009
Students, graduates and alumni are invited to put on a nice shirt, update their resumés and network with more than 100 exhibitors and prospective employers at the 2009 Memorial University Career and Graduate School Fair.
The event takes place Wednesday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Field House at Memorial.
“This event provides a fabulous networking opportunity for students and alumni to connect with employers to discuss career opportunities and, also, to connect with academic institutions regarding the pursuit of further education,” said Jim Pelley, employment development co-ordinator at Student Affairs and Services.
Whether you are looking for career related advice, direction on your career path, a first job, or a change in your current work situation, the career fair can provide strategies, advice and connections to help achieve a satisfying career.
Exhibitors will be looking to recruit Memorial students and graduates who have proven their desire to succeed by working hard and pursuing a post-secondary education. They are looking for you!
Take advantage and make the most of this day because it will not happen again for another full year. As a bonus, there will be lots of chances to win great prizes.
