Tonight at the Ship Inn Pub located on Duckworth St., in St. John’s, you can discuss these issues with some of the top genetic researchers and counsellors at Memorial University.
This special Café Scientifique, sponsored by Memorial and the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, starts at 7 p.m. There is no admission charge, refreshments will be served and everyone is welcome.
All in the Family: A Discussion about Genetics and How Much we Should (or Shouldn’t) Know features facilitators Dr. Terry-Lynn Young, molecular geneticist, Dr. Daryl Pullman, bioethicist, and genetic counsellors Kathy Hodgkinson and Andree MacMillan.
