SUBJECT: PSA: Campus roadway closure at Memorial University
DATE: May 12, 2009
Starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, there will be no through traffic allowed on Livyer's Loop on Memorial’s St. John's campus. This is due to structural reinforcement work required over the pedestrian tunnel in the roadway area near Doyle and Blackall residence. Access to areas 5, 6 and 11 will not be affected but anyone entering these areas will have to enter Livyer's Loop via the intersection of Irwin's Road or Prince Philip Drive. Anyone entering Livyer's Loop via Phelan Road will have to turn right at the intersection.
This construction is expected to last eight weeks. Also there will be no access to the residences via the tunnels while this is construction is ongoing.
