SUBJECT: Memorial to officially open Frank Zahn High Performance Marksmanship and CSCA Training Facility

Memorial University will officially open the Frank Zahn High Performance Marksmanship and CSCA Training Facility during a ceremony tomorrow on Dec. 12, at 1:15 p.m.
Representatives from the university, government, and the community will be on hand to mark the occasion with a short speaking program, a facility demonstration, and a reception. The facility, formerly known as the MUN Rifle Range, provides both a venue for training, and opportunity for research to enhance athletic performance.
The facility, as part of the School of Human Kinetics and Recreation, will be named in honor of accomplished athlete, coach, and long time employee of Memorial University, Frank Zahn.
The event takes place on in the Physical Education Building room
PE- 1002 of Memorial’s St. John’s campus. Parking is available in Lot 15 and 16A. Media agencies are encouraged to send representatives.
