On Monday, May 25, 2009, The Chartered Accountants’ Education Foundation of Newfoundland will join with Memorial University’s Faculty of Business Administration to celebrate the launch of a new strategic partnership. The foundation will strengthen its ties to the faculty and significantly enhance its support for students who wish to pursue a Chartered Accountancy designation.

These contributions will support student scholarships, a new SIFE Memorial initiative, an annual CA lecture series and resources for students and faculty to develop competency-based accounting skills.

Dr. Gary Gorman, dean of the Faculty of Business, and Sharon Forsey, chair of the Chartered Accountants’ Education Foundation will be on hand with students, faculty and representatives from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Newfoundland to celebrate this occasion.
